We then compare the past perfect continuous tense with its past continuous counterpart and demonstrate how to use the past continuous tense to discuss old habits. Our second grammar topic teaches you how to use 'used to' and 'would' and compares the use of the two to discuss past habits. We explain how to combine these terms with adverbs of frequency and identify the correct placement of the adverb.
